1. Introductory provisions
1.1 These terms of use (the "Terms") govern the use of the free online tool Dietio, operated by VisionEdge s. r. o. (the "Provider" or "we"). Dietio is available at the domain dietio.visionedge.sk.
1.2 Dietio is a travel allowance calculator — a tool that calculates meal allowances (per diems), pocket money and deductions for provided meals for domestic and foreign business trips under Act No. 283/2002 Coll. on travel allowances, as amended, and the relevant measures and decrees of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic. The output is a travel order in PDF format and an export in CSV format.
1.3 By using Dietio, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. The Disclaimer, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy also form part of these Terms.
2. What Dietio is and how it works
2.1 Based on the trip details you enter (countries, dates and times, provided meals, exchange rates and other parameters), Dietio determines the applicable bands, applies the rates and calculates the resulting allowance, including pocket money and meal deductions.
2.2 The calculation runs directly in your browser. The trip data you enter (including names and amounts) does not leave your device, is not sent to us, and we do not store it. The travel order (PDF) and the export (CSV) are generated locally on your device. Further information is set out in the Privacy Policy.
2.3 Dietio does not require registration or a user account.
3. Free of charge and nature of the service
3.1 Dietio is provided free of charge and "as is", without any hidden conditions or fees. It is part of the VisionEdge ecosystem.
3.2 As this is a free tool, we do not provide guaranteed availability (an SLA), guaranteed support or any warranty of uninterrupted operation. We are entitled to change, temporarily restrict or discontinue Dietio at any time.
4. Who Dietio is for
4.1 Dietio may be used by anyone who deals with the calculation of travel allowances — companies, payroll staff, accountants, assistants, entrepreneurs and employees on trips.
4.2 These Terms are worded generally. Where Dietio is used by a consumer (a natural person acting outside their business activity), their rights under the mandatory provisions of consumer protection law are not affected and prevail over these Terms.
5. Rules of use
5.1 You may use Dietio to calculate travel allowances and to create related outputs for your own needs or the needs of your organisation or clients.
5.2 In particular, you may not: compromise the security or operation of the tool, attempt unauthorised access (including to the administration interface), place automated load on the tool, obtain its source code beyond what is permitted by law, or use Dietio for unlawful purposes.
6. Intellectual property
6.1 Dietio, its software, design, logos and content are the intellectual property of the Provider or its licensors.
6.2 You may freely use the calculation results and the generated outputs (PDF, CSV) for your own purposes. This does not transfer any rights in the tool itself.
7. Informational nature and limits of the tool
7.1 The results of Dietio are of an informational and auxiliary nature. Dietio is not legal, tax, accounting or payroll advice and does not replace verification by a qualified professional. Details are set out in the Disclaimer, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
7.2 Rates, decrees and exchange rates change, and the result depends on the correctness of the data you enter. You are obliged to verify the correctness of the output before using it.
8. Liability
8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for any damage arising from the use of or inability to use Dietio, in particular for incorrectly paid allowances, penalties, arrears or other consequences arising from incorrect inputs, out-of-date rates, or use of the output without appropriate review.
8.2 The limitations of liability do not apply to the extent that the law does not permit them to be excluded or limited (in particular for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and in relation to consumers to the extent of their statutory rights).
9. Personal data protection and cookies
9.1 Information on the processing of personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy, and information on cookies in the Cookie Policy. Because the calculation runs in your browser, the trip data is not sent to us and is not stored.
10. Changes to the Terms
10.1 We may update these Terms, in particular when the tool's features or the legislation change. The current version is always available on the Dietio website. By continuing to use the tool after a new version is published, you express agreement with its wording.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
11.1 These Terms and the use of Dietio are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic.
11.2 We will primarily seek to resolve any disputes by agreement. This is without prejudice to a consumer's right to turn to the competent authorities or an alternative consumer dispute resolution body, where the statutory conditions are met.
12. Final provisions and contact
12.1 If any provision of these Terms becomes invalid or ineffective, the remaining provisions remain in force.
