2. What cookies and similar technologies we use
Dietio uses only strictly necessary technologies needed for the basic operation of the website. We do not use any analytics, marketing or profiling cookies, and we do not track your behaviour on other websites.

The dietio:theme item is not a cookie — it is data stored locally in the browser's storage (localStorage), which is not sent to the server and is used only to display the selected appearance mode.
3. Legal basis and consent
These technologies are technically necessary to provide the service you requested (displaying the website in the selected language and mode). Under § 109 of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. they do not require consent, and therefore no cookie consent request is shown.
4. Managing cookies and local storage
You can view and delete cookies and local storage data at any time in your browser settings. Deleting them will only remove the saved language and appearance-mode preference; it will not affect the functionality of the calculator.
5. Changes
We may update this policy when the technologies used or the legislation change. If we introduce optional cookies in the future (e.g. analytics), we will request your consent in advance. The current version is always available on the Dietio website.
