1. Introduction
This policy explains how VisionEdge s. r. o. ("we") handle personal data in connection with the free travel allowance calculator Dietio (dietio.visionedge.sk). Processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll.
2. Key principle: the calculation runs in your browser
2.1 The data you enter into the calculator (e.g. trip countries and route, dates and times, provided meals, amounts, any names on the travel order) is processed solely locally in your browser. This data is not sent to our servers and we do not store it. Both the travel order (PDF) and the export (CSV) are generated directly on your device.
2.2 Because we have no access to this data and do not process it on your behalf, we are not a processor of it under Art. 28 GDPR, and for that reason no data processing agreement (DPA) is concluded. You are responsible for handling the data you enter and save on your own device (e.g. downloaded PDF/CSV).
3. What data we process as controller
As a controller, we process only a limited amount of data necessary for the operation and security of the website:
- Technical and operational data: IP address, device and browser data, and server logs processed by our hosting provider when the website is served.
- Language preference: the
NEXT_LOCALEcookie (and a locally stored appearance-theme preference) — see the Cookie Policy for details. - Communication: if you contact us by email, we process the data you provide in your message in order to handle your request.

5. What we do not do
We do not use analytics, marketing or profiling tools and we do not track user behaviour. We do not require registration or an account, and we do not store data about your trips.
6. Recipients
To serve the website we use a hosting provider that processes technical server logs for us. The website is hosted in the European Union (in Slovakia).
Operational note: before publishing, fill in the specific hosting/CDN provider and verify that "Hosted in Slovakia" matches reality (e.g. server/CDN location). If the hosting or CDN processes data outside the EU, add appropriate safeguards (e.g. SCC).
7. Transfers to third countries
In normal operation, no intentional transfer of personal data outside the EU/EEA takes place. Should services involving a transfer outside the EEA be used to serve the website, we will safeguard it with appropriate safeguards under the GDPR (in particular standard contractual clauses).
8. Retention period
We retain technical logs only for the period necessary for operation and security purposes (usually no longer than 12 months). We retain email communication for the period needed to handle it and a reasonable period thereafter.
9. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies. Details are set out in the separate Cookie Policy.
10. Rights of data subjects
You have the right to access your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest. You may exercise your rights at info@visionedge.sk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:

11. Security
We serve the website over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) and apply security HTTP headers (HSTS and others). As we do not process trip data on the server, it remains under your control on your device.
12. Children
Dietio is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect children's personal data.
13. Changes
We may update this policy when the tool or the legislation change. The current version is always available on the Dietio website.
